Collected some 50 years ago while working in the Sultanate of Oman, where I was helping establish environment standards for the Sultanate. It was purchased from an old man in the last standing Souk in Muscat and has been one of my favorite items in my Middle East collection over the years. It is complete with a sample cotton weaving done by the last owner.
