The connection provides the port and hose union through which coolant leaves the cylinder head and passes into the cooling circuit toward the radiator and thermostat housing. It is renewed when cracked or leaking, or when the cooling hoses it serves are disturbed. Fitted to the 2. 7 and 3. 0 V6 diesel (TDV6) engines.
