I did all the heavy lifting and painted the background (ha, ha) and she came in and put finishing touches on the piece with her aspen grove in the foothills. Aspen groves are one of the largest living organisms in the world. It is actually all just one plant that sends shoots through the ground that pop up as "new" trees. Their trunks have a sculptural quality to them and the
