good condition except for moth damage over one quarter (shown in pictures and patched on verso but not conspicuous overall) and losses to fringes at one end

The mixture of techniques has produced varying tensions and the rug is distinctly "waisted" which does not detract from its charm

Fairuza Rug good condition except for mothA long Hamadan runner from the 1930s. Floral and shield motifs on a ground that ranges from dark blue to mauve across the length of the rug. Mid and dark pinks, with small accents in blue, orange, pale green. Thick pile, very comfortable to sit on. One end woven, the other fringed. Small bites from corners but otherwise good condition. 423 x 117cm
