1952 Railroad Date Nail Cufflinks chain In the foregroundOur 1952 vintage railroad date nail cufflinks are handmade using genuine date nails. They were used by railroad companies to mark the year that the track was installed each company making their own version. Date nails reached their peak in the 1930s and almost completely disappeared by the 1970s. Silver plated cufflinks 5 8" in diameter.
