artist’s varnish and almond oil came to the fore closely followed by freshly sawn pine wood and a dew sprinkled Limousine oak forest at dawn

Burnt brown toast conveyed a more charcoaled feel as nuts returned on the palate to be joined by crushed barley and a sweet lift from burnt toffee

The toastiness continued onto the palate with a hint of burnt sugar that was joined by the spicy tingle of pickled ginger

caramelized pineapple with chocolate nougat ice cream and raspberry sauce

The palate also had this odd salty/sweet combination – chocolate

A great big battering ram of aroma right up the schnozz. Then its coconut, lime oils, lemon bonbons, camphor, English mustard powder, dry earth, aged pinot noir, liquorice and fennel seeds. A good slug of water brings out smoked paprika, strawberry jelly, pine extract, hardwood resins, hot workshop wood shavings, graphite oil, spicy bourbon
