Yomut runner 152 x 102cmA long cushion made from an antique Yomut turkmen torba, that would originally have hung from the struts in a Turkmen tent for storage. The elaborate embroidery on the front, the fringes and tassels are characteristic of the fine work of this tribe. We have stuffed the bag with sheep's wool and discreetly stitched up the open side to make a supremely comfortable large lumbar cushion. Slight loss to fringe. Minor marks to verso, consistent with age and
