Puritan Plain Sermons for Plain PeopleAlas, only the second installment, but a very scarce first edition of Gillies' monumental work recounting revivals of religion from the entirety of church history. The work has never been surpassed in scope. It was re issued with fresh material by Horatius Bonar in the 19th century, and then reprinted by Banner of Truth in the 1980's.
