It is seamed at the front waist only with a slight flare to the lower portion of the front and the back sweeping out more from the shoulders to the hem with no seam to break the line at the back

Under the top layer is a second ruffled bottomed silk organza layer that gives it the shape you see and then a silk layer under that ending at the knee that acts as the innermost lining
