This dress from that collection has been made from a combination of two of his signature fabrics - a silk taffeta mixed with velvet

I have tied it at the back but you could probably wrap it once more and tie it at the front if and ties at the back

Set along the seams are loops made out of the same fabric and I love how some are only attached at one end so you get this bit of a raw decadent feel

It has a high neckline with an attached tie that extends out from either side of the neck

Youseef joined the Malcolm Starr label in 1969 and remained as the head designer until 1975. The years that Youssef headed the line are among some of my favorites and in particular his pieces that utilize quilting and felt patchwork are truly iconic.
