Hallway dusty This was the staff welfareA long corridor runs deep into the abandoned ABBCO Bakery, its walls shedding paint and plaster in layers down to bare substrate. Worn floorboards carry a film of dust, lit faintly from windows out of frame. The Leichhardt factory, operated by Abbco Bread Co Pty Ltd, was producing bread on an industrial scale by at least 1941.
