It is a beautiful candy stripe pattern on cotton on the quilted outer side and a stunning Jocelyn Proust print on the reversible side. It also does have a polyester filling as the quilting. There are side pockets on both sides. The jacket has a collar and is top stitched to hold fabrics in place. The cuffs can be rolled or left longer and it is a longer length to keep you warm.
