Mourning Photo Widow Holding Object & Photo of Dead Husband Civil War Tax Stamp plumbe keep in mind that myOriginal CDV of an older woman in mourning clothing, holding an object in her handand seated next to a small table, on which has been placed a photo of a man. Hard tomake out the details, but he looks like an older man with a beard, almost surely herhusband. Studio imprint on the back is B. L. Burr's of Rockport, Connecticut, along with a cancelled tax stamp, initialed by Burr with a date of 1865. 4" x 2. 5". Very good antique condition.
