A beautiful Fifties Floral Painting - Dark Ground lace The necklace is more goldI have quite a soft spot for this painting as it was trapped within a very broken and uncharming frame. It is produced with a mixture of watercolour ink gouache and simply needs a good home to rest a while. A lovely study filled with roses, nasturtiums and friends. Signed MGM and dated 1953. The painting measures approx 31cm x 36cm. Painted on heavy watercolour paper.
