Sweet rose petal, spice, mint, dried flowers, anise and blood orange give the 2015 striking aromatic complexity, but it is the translucence of the Nebbiolo fruit that I most admire here. All the elements simply fall into place in an effortless, utterly compelling Barbaresco from Ca' del Baio and the Grasso family.
